Kate Robertson is Co-Founder of One Young World, the leading global youth forum that was created with the support of Kofi Annan, Muhammad Yunus ,Desmond Tutu and Bob Geldof. She formerly served as Global President and UK Group of Havas Worldwide. One Young World is a UK charity that holds an annual summit in a different global city, most recently in Belfast to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and attended by 2000 young people and public figures such as Queen Rania of Jordan. In 2024, in partnership with One Young World, the China-United States Exchange Foundation will establish the CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship, to benefit eight individuals with year-round leadership training. Born in South Africa under apartheid, Ms. Robertson is based in London and is the co-author with Ella Robertson McKay of How to Make a Difference, a definitive guide to modern day activism.
