James Chau
President, China-United States Exchange Foundation; WHO Goodwill Ambassador

James Chau is President of the China-United States Exchange Foundation and a World Health Organization Goodwill Ambassador. A former television news anchor, he has earned a special reputation for his interviews with global figures including Nobel Peace Prize laureates Jimmy Carter, Kofi Annan, Ban Ki-moon, Muhammad Yunus, and Aung Sang Suu Kyi. Mr. Chau joined CUSEF in 2018 when he began working with its founder, Mr. Tung Chee-hwa. His work in public health began in HIV and AIDS. He was appointed WHO Goodwill Ambassador by Dr. Margaret Chan and re-appointed by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
