John Lee is the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He began his career with the Hong Kong Police Force in 1977, rising to Deputy Commissioner in 2010. He later served as Under Secretary for Security in 2012 and Secretary for Security in 2017, overseeing security policies across law enforcement, immigration, customs, and emergency services. In 2021, he became Chief Secretary for Administration, where he managed multiple policy bureaus. Mr. Lee was elected Chief Executive in 2022. He will speak at the Welcome Dinner of the U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum.
