Simon Lacey is Head of Digital Trade and Geopolitics at the World Economic Forum. He is an expert in international trade policy and law, with a particular focus on trade in services, digital trade, and economic development. He previously served as the Vice President for Trade Facilitation and Market Access at Huawei Technologies, where he worked on issues related to global trade and market entry strategies. In this role, he dealt with complex policies, particularly in the context of U.S.-China relations. He has advised governments on trade agreements and economic reforms, and taught at the University of Adelaide.
