Dennis Wilder is a military analyst who began his career at the CIA and is currently Professor of Practice at Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and a Senior Fellow at its Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues. Professor Wilder served as the CIA’s Deputy Assistant Director for East Asia and the Pacific, providing critical intelligence analysis on the region. During the George W. Bush administration, he was the National Security Council Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for East Asian Affairs. For six years during the Obama administration, he edited the President’s Daily Brief.
