Eric Kwok-ki Chan is Hong Kong’s Chief Secretary for Administration. He began his public service career in 1982 with the Immigration Department, where he held various roles until his promotion to Director of Immigration in 2011. In 2017, Mr. Chan was appointed as the Director of the Chief Executive’s Office, advising then Chief Executive Carrie Lam. He served as Secretary-General of the Committee for Safeguarding National Security. Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Laws from Tsinghua University. He will speak at the Welcome Dinner of the U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum on behalf of Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee.
